Best blog post of ever

No not this one xD, I'm referring to the one made by Shigemoto Kotori the Goddess of sexy here.

She only wrote I love you and good night, so how can it be the best blog post of ever?

Well, have a look at the pictures she posted and be warned if you are a publisher of dictionaries, it is now mandatory to display at least one of the following five pictures next to every positive word:

Speechless and passed out from beauty overload yet? good, cause the last one tops absolutely everything, hide the children, tie yourself to a chair to avoid injury, you've been warned:

I need a vacation now until my brain resets itself to a functional state xD

Akira rules

Earlier today I had another opportunity to meet Dream5, of course I didn't take any chances and went there, admittedly I had to buy the upcoming single Shekimeki to attend the event, but trust me with Dream5 thats worth it, unlike some other Idol groups you get pretty close and not just shuffled through a line in the area.

So anyway, why does the title say Akira rules? Simple, Akira tried to teach me the dance for Shekimeki, of course with my lack of dancing ability and Akira not being able to spend infinite time you can probably imagine why Yuuno was laughing in the background xD

There was also a mini live and to top it off, I got into a bit of trouble with my Gf due to Kotori pretending to kiss me, heh she was like a meter away lol, so in a way nothing happened, but apparently some people think of it a bit differently.

Anyway, completely awesome day, all thanks to Dream5.

Sheki meki pv is here

Watch "Dream5 / シェキメキ！" on YouTube

And god spoke: "There will be cake"

Hello and welcome to the age of madness

Just kidding about the madness bit even if some people would describe me as a bit crazy, crazy mostly about idols though so its all good. Anyway, Nao-kun here latest addition to this blog and don't worry I don't bite.

Anyway, just a quick heads up:

On 21st Sept from 7PM japanese time there will be a Dream5 livestream relating to the upcoming single Shekimeki, will we perhaps get to hear the song or maybe even see the pv?

Link to stream

Also just cause she is just so hyper cute, have a pic, context? not necessary xD

What i have missed.....

Hey everyone. I am so sorry for not updating. If any of you read my other blog, you'll know that i have a new job and right now i am still trying to work out how i can do all the things i need/want to do without those 8 hours i spend traveling and working.

I haven't really missed anything concerning the group, i've just not had the time to blog about it, so sorry if this isn't in order.

First up, the group were one of the opening acts for A-Nation again this year. It's great the they always get this oppertunity to perform on a big stage even if the venue isn't full at the time as it means that those people who were lucky enough to see them might decide to become fans.

They performed on the 25th August along with Kikkawa you as Opening Acts, Tokyo Girls Style also performed that day as a Shooting Act while Sandaime J Soul Brothers, SUPER JUNIOR and others where the main performers.

Remember the Element song?
Fushigi na Genso no Uta Dance Shot by Kirakira1610
well, after reading Aramatheydidn't (which helped to make what google translate was trying (and failing) to say), is the theme for the National Science Museum's special exhibit Genso no Fujigi.

READY GO!!/Wake Me Up! got a weekly rank of 18 with 6927 units sold, YAY!!!! Their first days rank was 9 and on that day we got confirmation of a new single.

The single is called Shekimeki and will be released on halloween 7/11
Here are the banners that are on their website

They look so cool.

The track list is up as well.

1. Shekimeki!
2. CRAZY GONNA CRAZY
3. Rock n' Roll Kenchoushozaichi (Rock 'n' Roll Prefecture Capital)
4. Shekimeki! Instrumental
5. CRAZY GONNA CRAZY Instrumental
6. Rock n' Roll Kenchoushozaichi Instrumental

As well as the track list for the DVD edition

1. Shekimeki! Music Video
2. Rock n' Roll Kenchoushozaichi Music Video
3. Shekimeki! Dance Shot
4. CRAZY GONNA CRAZY Dance shot
5. Rock n' Roll Kenchoushozaichi Dance shot

Plus individual covers only availible at mu-mo shop.

Rock n' Roll Kenchoushozaichi was originally the coupling track to Chisato Moritaka's Watashi no Natsu

And was also covered by Mini Moni

CRAXY GONNA CRAZY is another cover song. Original by TRF....again

At least we an idea of what two of the songs sounds like.

Part of the reason why i waited till now to update was to post the dance videos from the latest single along with the PV for I don't Obey, which i posted earlier, which is pretty hard to find a good quality video of that actually has sound on the web. I also brought their secon single, Bokura no Natsu as well. It has a video called Shigemon Gekijyou.

Wake Me Up Dance Shot by Kirakira1610

While the group was performing as the opening act for AAA's concert tour, Triple 7, remember when Akira was apart of the 777 interview crew?

AAA interviewing Dream5 by Kirakira1610

I call this getting their own back.

I can't thinks of anything else that's happened other then the ustream performances that they have been doing since July. I tried to watch one but i was way too busy to be able to fully enjoy myself (have to run around South london in the heat trying to find money for my uniform and travel for work, really sucked)

Anyway, remember that you can download the singles but please please PLEASE support the group and buy a copy (or you can buy my copys of RUN TO THE FUTURE and Koi no Dial 6700 off me for £10 and £5?)

A Day at the Beach

First thing.

I completely forgot about it.

HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY AKIRA!!

It was on the 22nd and i was way too preoccupied to remember.

So recently, the group went to the beach and took some pics. So here's the picspam from both blogs. (i think Kotori and Mikoto want a Photobook)

Wake me Up Performance

Had to keep searching for this. But Dream5 retweeted a TVCM_Japan tweet about the song.

UPDATE: New Outfits

Ready for a preview of their outfits?

Ta-Daa!!

I think the outfits are for READY GO!, actually, they ARE for READY GO!, judging from the mu-mo covers released yesterday.

The website, Musicman-net.com has an artical on the new single.

It looks like (judging from what i can understand from google translate) that all of Akira's interview video's from AAAChannel on AAA's current tour, will be included on the DVD for the single.

READY GO!'s CM is for footwear company Achilles new line "instantaneous foot".

And it looks like the group has been performing as one of the opening acts for AAA's tour.

Update about 7th single.

While at work, i was checking twitter and Dream5 staff released the title of the second track.

It's called Wake Me Up! and it isn't the b-side track, it's the other A-side.

It's also a cover of SPEED's 1997 hit. Here's the PV

And Yes, this single is another double a-side, people.

Also, the mu-mo covers have been released

Next single update will be for profile pics and then a PV preview.

Where have I heard that before? Part 1

What I do with Hello! Project, I look up the different versions of some ot their songs like, for example, Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari, So i'm looking up the other versions of some of D5's cover songs.

So far, the group have covered Finger Five's Koi no Dial 6700 and Gakuen Tengoku, and TRF's EZ DO DANCE.

So i'm starting with one that i'm sure everyone knows and loves.

Koi no Dial 6700.

This first video is by Gravure Idol Hirata Yuka.
Hirata Yuka - Koi no dial 6700 by kreiskreuz
This video was uploaded in 2008. Not much to say about this. I think she should stick to modeling personally but to each their own.

Next is the Momoclo Z girls Takagi Reni, Shiori Tamai and Ariyasu Momoka, 2011

They are too skinny. Eat more food girls.

Jump back to 2006, a clip from H!P show Uta Doki, Yaguchi Mari and Country Musume

Yaguchi & Country - Koi no DIAL 6700 by YasaSatsu

UFA really need to redecorate that cafe area. they use it was too much in everything they do. It makes them look so cheap.

Linlin's (Morning Musume's really) Version. When I say Linlin's, just watch what she doeswhen she starts the song and you'll know what I mean.

That was from their Resonat Blue tour, 2008. Lord how I miss these girls.

Lets not forget D5

Dream5 Koi no DIAL 6700 PV by Kirakira1610
Will forever love this PV, it's what welcomed me into their fandom.

There is another version which was used as a character song in the anime Natsu no Arashi! but i can't find it.

And last but not least, the original by Finger Five, 1973(?)

Finger Five = 4 boys, 1 girl, D5 = 4 girls, 1 boy, Go figure.

Dream5 Promoting their Clothes

I was looking for more appearance vids and found this one.

女神のマルシェ　dream5出演部分 by akari_daisuki
They're talking about Dancingoodday, the clothing that the group helped to design and use EZ DO DANCE to promote.

Remember, these clothes are not just for girls.
